John began his Martial Arts training at the age of six and earned his black belt at 14. Excelling in the areas of sparring and wrestling, he has since then earned numerous awards using his outstanding sparring and grappling skills in many full contact fights and tournaments. Holding belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Pankration and Tae Kwon Do backed by wrestling, boxing and kick boxing he is truly a mixed martial artist. Mr. John has been trained by legendary fighters such as Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, Rob Kaman, Pete Sell, Andrei Arlovski and Sean Bormet.
